Biblical Living

Have you tried this?!

When it comes to a relationship with Christ, we have only ever experienced freedom.

Do you find that to be true based on the way that you live?

Chances are, if you’re anything like me, or so many others, it may not be!

Before we dive any deeper into this thought, is this a new understanding to you? Is the thought of freedom in Christ something of a new revelation to you? Or maybe it’s found with a sense of, yeah but…mentality.

I’ve wrestled with this sense and idea of freedom just about every day of my short life and still don’t feel like I’ve come to any resolutions with it. What I do know, sense and see each day is that because I have a relationship with Christ there is nothing but freedom.

When we step more into it, we see just how freeing it is and we end up wanting more and more of it.

Paul had this to say about this freedom,

Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law.

Galatians 5:1 NLT

So I gotta ask, if you’re truly free, what’s the first thing you need to try or experience because of your freedom found in Christ?

ONE CAVEAT that you need to be aware of…

One Biblical principle does not negate another! Regardless of your freedom in Christ, sin is still sin and as you grow in the Spirit, your desire for sinful experiences should diminish and your freedom in Christ should expound.

So back to the question, where do you begin?
