Experience, Family, Random

Saturday’s for our family look so chill. We do almost nothing and we love it that way.

Sure there are the experiences we engage in from time to time, but for the most part, we have learned the incredible value of down time. Nothing planned, nothing happening, just nothing.

It becomes a time for us to do something spontaneous. Maybe explore a park nearby or a hike somewhere. We take walks when it’s warm. Many times we end up in some amazing family project around our home.

But, like this morning, there are groups of lego builders circled around a past project that numbers in the thousands of pieces.
Another group is lounging on the couch watching Saturday cartoons.
(Is it ridiculous that I can talk about my kids in groups?)
Momma is somewhere doing something usually that turns out more than stupendous.

What’s your Saturday look like? What fuels and fills you that you long to live for on your Saturday?
